July 25, 2025 - Cognizant has been recognized as a Leader in the Higher Education Digital Services RadarView™ Report conducted by leading management consulting firm Avasant. As part of their research, Avasant evaluated 28 service providers recognizing 14 that brought the most value to the market over the past 12 months. The report highlights that Cognizant’s “end-to-end digital capabilities across the higher education value chain, along with strategic investments in AI-driven use cases and robust platform implementation, have positioned it as a leader in Avasant’s Higher Education Digital Services 2025 RadarView™.”

According to Avasant’s Rohan Sahoo, “Higher education institutions are modernizing legacy systems with cloud-native platforms and AI-driven tools to build scalable, interoperable digital ecosystems that unify academic and administrative services. When profiling Cognizant, Avasant rated the service provider’s practice maturity as a 5 out of 5 stars highlighting its robust employee base and over 500 digital implementations in the education space that serve universities across geographies including the US, UK, Asia Pacific, and Australia. “Over the past year, Cognizant has advanced Gen AI adoption through strategic investments and its in-house Neuro^® AI platform, supporting use cases such as content summarization and automated learning.” Cognizant’s use cases for GenAI aimed at higher education clients seeks to help institutions reach their goals like enhancing student engagement and academic support.

Cognizant is also recognized for “strengthening its robust partner ecosystem to provide platform-based modernization across student information systems, learning platforms, and administrative functions.” Cognizant utilizes its long-standing partnerships with hyperscalers to develop solutions and facilitate cloud-based transformations for higher education clients and has even established over 40 frameworks and accelerators in collaboration with Microsoft, specifically for these clients.
