Vibha Rustagi, President and CEO of itaas, a Cognizant company, was honored by the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA) with a Vanguard Award. The award was presented at the Vanguard Awards Lunch and Ceremony held as part of INTX 2015, the internet and television expo.
Recipients of the Vanguard Award demonstrate unparalleled leadership in management, technology, programming, operations and marketing disciplines. Their performance and achievements are worthy of recognition from the entire industry.
Rustagi has been involved in the cable and telecommunications industries for more than 25 years. She is one of twelve cable executives in Communications Technology Cable Hall of Fame. She has been named by CableFax as one of the most powerful women in cable, and by Multichannel News as one of three women who have made significant achievements in technology positions. She was recognized by Interactive TV Today with the Leadership Award at the TV of Tomorrow Show for her work in interactive and multiplatform television, and was inducted into the Cable TV Pioneers at the 2014 Cable Show.
