“In today’s highly competitive talent acquisition market, digital interviews are fast becoming a differentiator in attracting top-quality talent,” says Sriram Rajagopal. “They streamline the recruitment process, reduce travel time and costs, increase the productivity of recruiters, speed up the interview process, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance the interview process for the candidate.”
He adds that the idea is still evolving. “Digital interviews cannot yet replace face-to-face interactions. The method cannot be applied to all contexts, job roles and industries. Organizations still prefer face-to-face interviews when hiring for senior roles. From a technology point-of-view, due to lag time and other connectivity issues, the interview process can sometimes become frustrating.”
