Forbes: Cognizant’s Group Chief Executive for Industries and Markets Says the Company is Seeing Good Uptick in Banking

“Banking was very strong this quarter and we are seeing a good uptick there still,” says Rajeev Mehta. He says new regulatory requirement has been driving a lot of the need for technology solutions. “The sector has also been spending on analytics and mobile, all good news for Cognizant. That trend is going to continue.”

“Banking is one of the reasons we are so optimistic on our full year outlook, which we re-confirmed today,” he says. “We could beat it. We want to be conservative.”
