TEANECK, N.J., December 5, 2024 -- Cognizant (NASDAQ:CTSH) today announced it has been named one of America’s Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek magazine. This prestigious recognition highlights companies that show a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) in environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.
America’s Most Responsible Companies 2025 is presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The study looked at the top 2,000 public companies by revenue with headquarters in the U.S., all of which were required to publish a sustainability report. Combining quantitative data across 30 ESG indicators and a survey of 26,000 U.S. consumers to gauge public perception, the final list includes the top 600 companies that are setting the standard for transparency and accountability in the corporate sector.
“We are proud to be recognized for our sustainability and corporate citizenship efforts,” said Tobi Young, Cognizant Senior Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. “Cognizant’s sustainability and Synapse initiatives reflect our commitment to making a meaningful impact in the well-being of our associates and the communities where we live and work.”
