CNBC TV 18: Cognizant CEO Says Clients Are Looking to Invest More

Francisco D’Souza, Cognizant President and CEO, says that the company’s clients are looking at the volatile environment as an opportunity to invest. “This is an opportunity for us to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented through the volatile environment. Cognizant is a firm that can give clients an opportunity to innovate and to grow their top-line and also to take their costs out, yet be more efficient and effective. So on one platform, we give the clients best of both worlds, and I think that is driving lot of our optimism as we look forward. We don’t see IT budgets and operations budgets increasing significantly next year, but what we do see is that clients are going to shift increasing amount of their budgets to doing work with firms like Cognizant in a global delivery model.”
