Forbes: CEO D'Souza on 2011 Outlook and the Future of Work

Commenting on Cognizant's fourth-quarter 2010 earnings, CEO Francisco D'Souza told Eric Savitz of Forbes about industry trends that are creating “a tremendous opportunity” for Cognizant.  D'Souza noted  three overlapping trends that he calls “the future of work”: (1) new software and services, including cloud computing, social networks, and mobility; (2) the growing impact of "Millennials," a generation that has grown up using sophisticated technology tools; and (3) the increasingly virtual nature of business.“Put them together, and you’ll see a profound shift in how work is done in the future,” D’Souza says.
