Institutional Investor: The Best of Corporate America

In a cover story entitled “The Best of Corporate America,” Cognizant is profiled as the only company to capture first-place honors in every category in its sector in the 2011 All-America Executive Team, Institutional Investor’s second annual ranking of the nation’s best chief executive officers, chief financial officers, investor relations professionals, and IR companies. Based on a survey of buy- and sell-side analysts, Cognizant’s Francisco D’Souza is the Best CEO; Gordon Coburn, the Best CFO; and David Nelson, the Best IR Professional, in the Computer Services & IT Consulting sector. They also say Cognizant provides better IR ser¬vices than any of its peers, according to the survey. Institutional Investor asked 1,300 buy side and sell side analysts at about 550 firms to rank companies’ leadership teams based on attributes like accessibility, candor, credibility, industry knowledge.
