"Supercharged Performer" Cognizant Named to Fortune 100 Fastest Growing
“Even amid the worst economic slump since the Great Depression, some companies just keep growing,” says Fortune Magazine in its 2009 list of the 100 fastest growing companies worldwide. Cognizant ranked 90th on Fortune’s list of “the world's supercharged performers,” based on average earnings per share and revenue growth over the past three years. Cognizant also placed 36th among “Top Companies: Sales Growth,” with an average revenue growth rate of 46% over the past three years, and was among the top five fastest growing companies in its home state of New Jersey.
