Cognizant President Sees Growth in Economic Crisis.

The economic crisis has further catalyzed adoption of the global services delivery model, according to R Chandrasekaran, Cognizant’s Managing Director and President, Global Delivery. In an interview with Financial Express, Chandra explained that cost is not the only motivation for outsourcing. It is more about the value that outsourcing delivers, by improving processes through business process optimization. The value equation for outsourcing has moved from labor arbitrage to a new phase of intellectual arbitrage, where the goal has shifted to using global talent to create new outcomes that were not previously possible.
