Institutional Investor Magazine ranked Cognizant Number One in the “Computer Services and IT Consulting” industry sector on the 2010 All-America Executive Team, its exclusive annual ranking of the nation’s best CEOs, CFOs, investor relations (IR) professionals, and Corporate IR programs. Cognizant received first-place rankings in five of six categories, including Number One CEO (Francisco D’Souza), Number One CFO (Gordon Coburn), Number One IR professional (David Nelson), and Number One IR Program.

In its survey, Institutional Investor asked 570 sell-side analysts at 100 securities firms and 780 buy-side investment professionals at 425 institutions nationwide to select the best-performing executives in the business segments they analyze. Cognizant also tied for fifth place as best overall IR company in all industry categories, along with Colgate-Palmolive, Entergy, Goldman Sachs, and HP.
