Business Roundtable Sustainability Report: Cognizant’s Support

As a member of the Business Roundtable (BRT), an association of CEOs of leading U.S. companies, Cognizant CEO and President Francisco D’Souza has contributed to BRT’s third annual Sustainability Report, “Enhancing Our Commitment to a Sustainable Future.” In one of 90 CEO letters contributed to the report, Frank writes, “As a ‘born global’ technology consulting and services company, we understand the importance of being a responsible global citizen.” He describes Cognizant’s Go Green initiative, launched in 2008, which has already saved an estimated 18.75 million kilowatt hours of electricity, $2.5 million in costs, and 22,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
