“The industry is at a shift point,” says Malcolm Frank. “The client challenge and the way they define that challenge is different.”
According to Frank, the good news is that it is now a CEO-level issue. “Clients want to digitize their businesses and use technology to completely transform from B2B to B2C to B2I or Business to Individual. That individual curated experience is what every bank wants to do and every manufacturer wants to provide. So we are seeing customer interfaces being digitized. Similarly, every product can be individualized, when it’s instrumented and put online.”
He adds, “The point is, it changes business process and organizational model, and you need to speak that language to be able to do that from the back-end to the front-end and manage that entire relationship with the client.”
