FORTUNE: Cognizant Jumps 46 Places in 2012 in the FORTUNE 500

Cognizant has jumped 46 places in the FORTUNE 500, which was released on May 7, 2013, and is based on revenue for the 2012 fiscal year. The FORTUNE 500 is FORTUNE magazine’s annual ranking of the largest corporations in the United States. With revenue of $7.35 billion in 2012, Cognizant ranks #352, up from #398 in the ranking released in May 2012.

In February 2013, Cognizant ranked among FORTUNE’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” for the fifth year in a row. In September 2012, Cognizant ranked on Fortune’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies list for the tenth consecutive year, earning the top place on the “All-Stars” list of companies that appear on the 100 Fastest Growing Companies list year after year.
