ET Now: Cognizant’s Group Chief Executive for Technology and Operations Sees a Stable Demand Environment in 2013

“We feel good about the demand environment. We feel it’s pretty stable,” says R. Chandrasekaran. “We feel pretty good about the 17% growth that we have guided to, which we believe would be industry-leading revenue growth. We find that budgets are getting closed as we expected. We are not seeing any delays. That gives us a sense of optimism as we look into 2013.”

He adds, “Europe has been going through ups and downs in the recent past and we felt good about the way Q4-2012 turned out to be. Longer term, we feel optimistic about the growth opportunities in Europe. The feedback we are getting, the types of deals we are winning, and our emphasis on Europe through acquisitions give us optimism about growth prospects in Europe.”
