Two Cognizant Associates Named to Consulting Magazine’s 2022 Rising Stars of the Profession

Cognizant associates Manogna Darvemula and Siddharth Maiti have been named to Consulting Magazine’s 2022 Rising Stars of the Profession. They are among a group of 64 talented and promising professionals, aged 35 and under, to be recognized as the best young talent in consulting.

As one of only two people honored in the ‘Excellence in Energy Industry’ category, Darvemula is a Consulting Manager, specializing in cloud data migrations, data warehouse implementations, data analytics and advisory. She is a certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), PMP, AWS Cloud Practitioner and Cognizant Certified Data Scientist. Most notably, she worked on HR analytics and the migration of staffing data for a Fortune 100 conglomerate and enterprise data warehouse (EDW) implementations for education and hospitality clients. She said of her work, “I enjoy helping the client teams understand the pros and cons of the options and finding the best solution for clients. It gives me immense pleasure when I can successfully coordinate the activities, liaise between the client and IT teams, and bring different teams to work towards a common goal.”

Senior Consultant Maiti was recognized for ‘Excellence in Client Service’. He attributes his success to the support he receives from his manager and the clients he works with, noting that their encouragement has inspired him “to go beyond what is expected.” Maiti’s work with a major partner saw him successfully lead the data consulting effort, paving the way for other consulting projects which lay important foundations for the broader transformation for the client. He says, “the aspect of my job that I enjoy the most is meeting the ‘challenge of the unknown’. Every assignment presents a new opportunity to learn and expand my horizon of knowledge, domain expertise and professional skills.”
