Cognizant announced today that Jane Livesey and Manoj Mehta will lead the Global Growth Markets (GGM) organization and become members of Cognizant’s Executive Committee effective immediately. They succeed Rob Walker, who recently stepped down from the role.

Livesey now leads Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and Mehta leads Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In these role, the leaders are responsible for setting the strategic direction and delivering business performance in their respective regions.

“More than half of our company’s market opportunity lies outside of the Americas, and our Global Growth Markets’ (GGM) focus on improving our strategic position with clients and capturing more of this opportunity are key to accelerating Cognizant’s revenue growth – one of our company’s top priorities,” said Cognizant CEO, Ravi Kumar S.

“GGM represents a vast geographic range and as nearly all GGM markets will grow in 2023, we have the obligation to appropriately scale them for future opportunities – further globalizing Cognizant’s footprint and channeling that energy into a growth mindset.

Livesey joined Cognizant in 2020 as the Head of Australia and New Zealand. Mehta joined Cognizant in 2005 and has held various commercial and technology roles, most recently leading the Global Large Deals Team. In addition, Manoj has served as the Global Head of Industry 4.0 & Industrial Internet of Things, interim Head of Global Growth Markets and various commercial leadership roles in Continental Europe and Benelux.
