Cognizant Takes Top Honors in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix Service Provider of the Year™ Awards
Cognizant is ranked No. 1 among IT services (ITS) providers receiving Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix Service Provider of the Year™ awards.
The newly established PEAK Matrix Service Provider of the Year awards are designed to recognize IT services providers who consistently rate as top performers in Everest Group’s PEAK Matrix assessments across four key ITS practices:
- Banking, Financial Services and Insurance,
- Healthcare and Life Sciences,
- Application and Digital Services, and
- Cloud and Infrastructure Services.
Everest Group published 26 PEAK Matrix™ IT services evaluations in 2015, evaluating 59 service providers overall. Each PEAK Matrix assessment identified service providers as being in the categories of Star Performer, Leader, Major Contender, and Aspirant. The ITS Top 20 list, with Cognizant at No. 1, was derived using a consolidated score reflecting points received on individual evaluations for each of the categories.
In addition to ranking as the top ITS provider overall, Cognizant ranked as a Leader and Star Performer in the individual category of Healthcare and Life Sciences, and ranked as a Leader in the category of Banking Financial Services and Insurance IT.
According to Everest Group, the PEAK Matrix Service Provider of the Year awards will help prospective clients identify the “best of the best” among IT Services providers ― those with “strong broad-based capabilities and successful services strategies that align well with the evolving enterprise IT demand.”
