Cognizant Wins 2022 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards

Cognizant Digital Business & Technology (DB&T), for the first time, has won awards in three categories in The Business Intelligence Group’s 2022 Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards program – Best Hybrid Intelligent System Solution, Best Limited Memory Automation Solution, and Best Limited Memory Natural Language Process Solution.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Excellence Awards recognize organizations, products, and people who bring AI to life and apply the technology to solve real problems. Cognizant’s AI solutions help organizations operationalize and accelerate the adoption and implementation of these technologies to meet customer demands quickly to achieve scale, efficiency, and cost savings. Cognizant won for:

  1. Best Hybrid Intelligent System Solution where the Cognizant team developed an Intelligent AI-enabled analytical application to predict device failures helping the client reduce costs for all support-related activities and Turn Around Time (TAT). The solution also helped increase the device uptime and productivity by preventing unplanned shut down by 12%.
  1. Best Limited Memory Automation Solution, for an Intelligent Solution developed by the Cognizant team to predict possible scenarios, scenario failures, pre-prod, and production defects at the start of the sprint. This solution has a prediction accuracy of 83% and helped in improving the efficiency in the QE team process by 8%.
  1. Best Limited Memory Natural Language Processing Solution. The Cognizant team used NLP to aid the client’s organizational decision-making process in a first-of-its-kind implementation. As a result of this implementation, the client estimates soft cash efficiencies of USD 3.9 million gained annually across multiple business units.
