Cognizant today announced it is working with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to advance the delivery of Snapdragon® Car-to-Cloud Services, helping automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) build connected vehicles with customizable and continually upgradeable features that personalize the driving experience for consumers. These service features include vehicle tracking and geofencing alerts, more precise positioning for premium navigation, and increased processing power to stream content to more displays, which can be accessed remotely by drivers at any time to improve system performance, enhance safety and create an immersive experience unique to one’s driving habits.

Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Services are a component of the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, a comprehensive set of cloud-enabled platforms for connectivity, computing and driver assistance & autonomous driving. Through this relationship, Qualcomm Technologies will utilize Cognizant’s deep automotive engineering, research and development expertise, as well as its automotive test frameworks, to integrate Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Services for automakers in efforts to accelerate their time to market. This working relationship builds on Cognizant’s continued strategic investments in automotive connectivity, such as the 2021 acquisition of ESG Mobility, which currently provides engineering services to eight of the world's top ten automotive OEMs.
