Cognizant has completed its acquisition of Mobica, an IoT services provider specializing in embedded software engineering services for the technology and automotive industries, effective March 10, 2023.

With expertise spanning the full software development cycle and a focus on clients’ strategic internal research and development, Mobica augments Cognizant's IoT embedded software engineering in three key areas – connected devices and digital transformation, silicon and technology platforms, and automotive and intelligent mobility. Headquartered in Manchester, United Kingdom, the acquisition adds approximately 900 new employees across Europe and North America, including approximately 550 engineers in Poland.
