At the Information Services Group (ISG) 2015 Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) Paragon Awards™, Cognizant and Woolworths were recognized as finalists in the Best Sourcing Transformation category. The awards recognize leadership and best practices in sourcing and service management.
The two companies were recognized for Woolworths Marketplace, an analytics and reporting solution developed by Cognizant for Woolworths, Australia’s leading grocery and supermarket store chain, as part of the latter’s initiative to drive revenue and growth by transforming its digital business and developing greater foresight into market demands.
By adopting a ‘one team’ strategy, Cognizant and Woolworths created a unique partnership that focused on leveraging joint innovation, new strategies, and advanced technologies for Woolworths to deliver service excellence, improve time-to-market, and increase customer satisfaction.
