Cognizant Recognized as Top Application Lifecycle Management Partner by SAP

Cognizant has been awarded the Top Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Partner Award for SAP Cloud ALM by SAP, a global leader in enterprise software, at the SAP ALM Summit APAC 2025. This award highlights Cognizant’s excellence in delivering end-to-end ALM solutions, particularly through the implementation and operation of SAP Cloud ALM.

With mainstream maintenance for SAP Solution Manager nearing its end, enterprises are under pressure to transition to SAP Cloud ALM to maintain operational continuity and innovation. Cognizant is actively guiding clients through this migration, supporting more seamless implementation tailored to each organization’s unique business needs.

“Cognizant today is collaborating with customers not just for technical execution, but for strategic, business centric transformations” said Samrat Basu, SAP Practice Head, Cognizant. “We’re proud to partner with SAP, to help organizations unlock the full potential of Cloud ALM driving efficiency, visibility, and long-term value."

SAP Cloud ALM’s robust monitoring and governance capabilities have been integrated into Cognizant’s SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, enhancing project oversight and operational transparency. SAP Cloud ALM is available at no additional cost, enabling clients to manage their entire SAP S/4HANA lifecycle across both on-premise and SaaS environments without added licensing fees.

As a Top ALM Partner, Cognizant has successfully deployed SAP Cloud ALM across diverse customer environments, including for U.S.-based life sciences company Alnylam Pharmaceuticals.

“At Alnylam we are running RISE with SAP, and Cognizant’s team helped us implement the SAP Cloud ALM solution and integrate it with our SAP S/4 HANA environment,” said Pranav Samdura, Sr Manager, SAP COE, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. “We have been mainly using it for end-to-end alert monitoring capabilities as well as incident management.”
