Company supporting national and local response organizations to help communities affected by wildfires
TEANECK, NJ – Jan. 16, 2025 – Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) today announced $750,000 in donations to support Southern California wildfire relief and rebuilding efforts. The four contributions will provide community resiliency aid and disaster response resources to support first responders and those in need.
The $750,000 commitment will support the following disaster-relief partners and their efforts:
- California Community Foundation will provide long term recovery grants to organizations and individuals.
- YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is gathering and distributing supplies and offering temporary housing amenities and childcare.
- World Central Kitchen is offering immediate relief by providing food to those in need and first responders.
- The Salvation Army is collecting clothing, cleaning and rebuilding supplies, and food.
