Cognizant has been recognized in several countries as a leading employer based on employee input.

For the fifth consecutive year, Great Place to Work (GPTW), a global authority on workplace culture, has certified Cognizant Brazil among the top 30 Great Places in IT with 1000+ employees. Driven by employee feedback, GPTW evaluates survey responses to determine if a company meets the criteria as a GPTW. Criteria includes a Trust Index research-backed employee survey, as well as details on programs and practices that make a company unique. If a company meets the criteria, it receives the GPTW certification.

Top Employers Institute, an authority on recognizing excellence in people practices in the workplace, has certified Cognizant locations in China, UAE, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Spain and Sweden as Top Employers. This is the first time Ireland and Latvia have been certified. For Europe, the company received regional certification for the 8th consecutive year. Top Employers Institute surveys organizations and completes a detailed assessment of its people and practices. Once survey results are validated, they are scored by Top Employers Institute and if successful, the organization is recognized as a Top Employer.
