Cognizant’s Shelley Tiltman, Associate Director, Human Resources, has been named to the OUTstanding LGBT+ Future Leaders’ List 2020.

Founded by INvolve, a global network and consultancy that champions diversity and inclusion in business, and supported by Yahoo Finance, the OUTstanding LGBT+ Role Model Lists highlight the achievements of LGBT+ people in the business community. The list is published annually and showcases 100 LGBT+ executives and future leaders, along with 50 ally executives.

Ranked 80 on the OUTstanding LGBT+ Future Leaders’ List, Shelley was nominated by several peers and received the recognition for her work driving engagement and activities for Embrace, Cognizant’s LGBTQ+ and allies network. She has been instrumental in the group’s delivery of at least one event per month, educating allies, raising awareness, and supporting those who identify and model-inclusive behaviors. Leading the global Allies awareness program, Shelley was influential in increasing membership numbers for Embrace. She recently moved into a Global Inclusion & Belonging role within the company to focus on and collaborate with all networks to help them with their inclusion journeys.

Shelley has been driving LGBT+ inclusion within various organizations for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Cognizant, she completed the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index several times. She is also a member of LBWomen and a regular volunteer at Brighton TransPride.
