Cognizant continues to integrate its global talent, resources, and capabilities related to Amazon Web Services (AWS) through its newly dedicated AWS Business Group, one of the largest AWS-certified practitioner communities in the world. With more than 8,000 certified cloud professionals supporting customers on a global scale, Cognizant is recognized by industry analysts for its expertise in hyperscale cloud strategy and implementation.
The Cognizant AWS Business Group is an evolution of Cognizant’s existing AWS practice area, further integrating global resources to provide consulting and migration, implementation, support, and operations for clients at any stage of cloud adoption. Cognizant will be expanding the AWS Business Group considerably by year-end, with additional sales resources, architects, data engineers, and developers focusing on application transformation, data modernization, SAP, IoT, and Connect, Amazon’s public cloud customer contact center service.
Greg Hyttenrauch, President, Cognizant Digital Systems and Technology, says the newly dedicated group builds on Cognizant’s long-standing relationship with AWS, sharpening the focus on innovating with AWS solutions to meet accelerating market demand for cloud-first IT architecture and software as-a-service (SaaS) capabilities.
“We are committed to growing our global presence with AWS and building a world-class AWS solution portfolio featuring industry-specific tools and accelerators implemented through Cognizant’s DevOps-based global delivery model,” Hyttenrauch said. “AWS supplies the building blocks of the cloud architecture, while Cognizant provides the differentiating integration strategy and expertise required to create industry-level and client-specific solutions.”
“With the dedicated AWS Business Group, Cognizant will continue to enable customers to run applications reliably, securely, and efficiently on AWS,” said Doug Yeum, Head of Worldwide Channel and Alliances, Amazon Web Services, Inc. “We are delighted to support Cognizant’s enhanced focus on expanding modernization, data analytics, machine learning/deep learning, and IoT.”
