Focused primarily on data modernization, the projects helped customers across industries move from legacy data systems to the cloud, making them more agile and able to scale more quickly, resulting in cost savings, improved time to market and increased revenue and operational efficiencies. A sampling of the projects include:
- For a large global life sciences company, the Cognizant team built a large-scale data hub as a single trusted data source leveraging Talend. The solution enabled the client to ingest and set up additional cloud and on-premise data sources in weeks rather than months when requested by marketing and sales departments. The project resulted in a substantial reduction in operating costs and the implementation of data quality monitoring
- A Japanese pharma company needed to modernize their existing on–premise commercial data warehouse platform. The client had a significant need to build a flexible and robust data management platform that supports faster onboarding of data, advanced analytics and other reporting requirements. Cognizant leveraged Intelligent Data Works Cognizant’s AI Data Foundry to accelerate the migration, reducing the delivery timelines by 30 percent and lowering the technical debt.
- A large U.S. entertainment client was looking to improve its fans’ experience.
