Cognizant Academy, dedicated to developing talent and creating a learning culture at Cognizant, has been recognized by the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the Brandon Hall Group for its work in 2019. 

Based on its mission to empower organizations to develop talent in the workplace, the ATD Excellence in Practice Awards recognizes those companies that have “demonstrated clear and measurable results of achieving organizational goals, meet a demonstrated need, have appropriate design values, and are clearly aligned with other performance improvement initiatives.”

For 2019, Cognizant Academy received four ATD Excellence in Practice Awards:

• “Aspiring Architect Program” in Career Development
• “Skill Transformation Framework for an Effective Learning Organization” in Integrated Talent Management
• “Headstart GenC Program” in Onboarding
• “New Hire Orientation for U.S. Healthcare Claims Process in an Outsourcing Company” in Onboarding

Cognizant, along with other award winners, will be honored in May 2020 at an awards ceremony to be held during ATD’s International Conference & Exposition.

In addition to the ATD Awards, Academy has also received two Excellence in Technology Awards for 2019 from the Brandon Hall Group, which recognizes the best organizations that “have successfully deployed programs, strategies, modalities, processes, systems, and tools that have achieved measurable results.” The awards from the Brandon Hall Group include “Best Advance in Learning Management Technology” (Silver Award) and “Best Advance in Content Management Technology” (Bronze Award).
