Cognizant and Network Rail have won four awards for a cloud migration project. Network Rail owns and operates the railway infrastructure in England, Wales and Scotland. To date, the companies have won:

Moving one of Europe’s largest Oracle environments, the Network Rail E-Business Suite Transformation project leveraged cloud technology to ensure that private and public cloud environments could communicate with each other. The move enables greater business agility, speeds up the provision of new infrastructure and improves data access across the company. The project further enhances security and ensures GDPR compliance for the railroad.

“We are pleased to be recognized for our work with Network Rail,” said Rohit Gupta, Vice President, Cognizant Europe. “With a sound cloud infrastructure in place, this project paves the way for a number of high-impact business improvement projects scheduled over the next five years which will have lower total cost of ownership due to the efficient and optimized environments.”
