Cognizant's India-based  legal team has been honored as the “Best In-House Legal Department to Work For” at the IDEX Legal Awards 2018 held recently in Mumbai, India.

Led by Jury Chairman Mysore Prasanna, the panel identifies in-house counsel and law firms who excel in their specific roles and industries. Recognizned for its industry best practices and continuous process improvement, Cognizant has made significant investments in training its legal team, including inidividual growth plans for its legal associates.

The IDEX Legal Awards are among the most competitive and prestigious awards  in India. They are based on merit by a jury drawn from some of India’s most prominent legal luminaries. With 23 categories across in-house teams and law firms along with three jury-nominated categories, this year’s edition of IDEX Legal Awards saw record-breaking entries with almost 200 submissions.
