CivilianJobs.com, USA: Cognizant Project Manager Named to the Top 40 Under 40 Military Class of 2016 in Recognition of High-Achieving Military Service

Aaron Holler

Aaron Holler, a former Lieutenant with the U.S. Coast Guard and now a Project Manager with Cognizant, has been named a winner of the Top 40 Under 40 Military Class of 2016 by CivilianJobs.com, where America’s military connects with civilian careers.

In honor of Veteran’s Day every year, the Top 40 Under 40 Military program recognizes the top performing service members who are serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The military-experienced individuals who make up the 2016 class were selected by CivilianJobs.com’s worldwide military base newspaper, Military Transition News. The criteria for the Top 40 Under 40 Military require individuals to be serving or have served in the U.S. armed forces, under 40 years old, have exemplary military performance as per their assignments and evaluations, and have or anticipate an honorable discharge.

“The winners of this year’s Top 40 Under 40 Military program represent the immense devotion and hard work high-achieving military members put forth, both within their respective military designations and later on in the civilian world,” says Jake Hutchings, VP Client Services, Bradley-Morris, Inc., the largest military-focused recruiting firm in the U.S., and CivilianJobs.com. “It will always be an honor to recognize these exemplary men and women who serve our nation.”

“Search and Rescue is the Coast Guard’s primary mission,” writes Military Transition News. “Former LT Aaron Holler carried out that mission as a Rescue Helicopter Pilot. In four-and-a-half years, Holler saved 12 lives and assisted 102 others during life threatening situations in adverse weather conditions. He also was a Tactical Drug Interdiction Helicopter Pilot who accomplished the first-ever U.S. helicopter “Airborne Use of Force” drug interdiction while partnering with the Royal Netherlands.” Holler separated from the Coast Guard in June 2015 and now works as a Project Manager with Cognizant’s Quality Engineering and Assurance practice.

“We’re proud of Aaron and his time spent serving in the Coast Guard, as well as all of our employees, worldwide, who actively served in the military,” says James Lennox, Global Chief People Officer, Cognizant. “The leadership, discipline and commitment to excellence that our veterans bring to our company enable us to provide the best solutions and service to our clients.”

With dedicated veteran outreach and recruiting activities, Cognizant strives to provide a positive workplace for military veterans with careers that utilize their advanced leadership skills and strong work ethic. Cognizant has established the Cognizant Veterans Network designed to advance the company’s commitment to the veteran community.
