“The new machines will raise the standard of living and create an era of economic growth stronger than anything we have seen in the Western world over the past fifty years.”
Excerpts from Dagens Nyheter’s article:
“AI and robotization are expected to revolutionize the labor market in the next decade. But humanity will hardly be able to settle down in the hammock when the machines do the job. Instead, many researchers fear rising unemployment and widening class divisions.
In the book ‘What to do when machines do everything’ (2017), the authors Malcolm Frank, Paul Roehrig and Ben Pring have broken down the figures. According to their analysis, 12 percent of the jobs will disappear with the new machine age, 13 percent new jobs will be added, and 75 percent of the existing jobs will be changed by robotization.”
