Computable, Netherlands: Cognizant’s Assistant Vice President of Process Consulting Says Data is an Important Instrument of Digital and Business Transformation

According to Bart van der Mark, 2015 is the year when companies will increasingly focus on all the valuable data collected from people, processes, facilities and organizations.

“Organizations will use more data strategically to achieve tangible business results. Data will be an important way to drive digital and business transformation and realize additional revenue,” he says.

Van der Mark expects a Chief Data Officer (CDO) to be appointed in companies across various sectors to develop data strategy in order to expand the business.

“These organizations will develop rapidly, provide a more personal customer experience, and optimize business analytics,” says Van der Mark. “This will allow companies to stay ahead of the competition as they will have more insight into the developments within their organization.”
