The European Software Testing Awards: Cognizant Bags Seven Awards at TESTA 2013

At The European Software Testing Awards (TESTA) for 2013, Cognizant bagged awards in as many as seven of the total 21 categories. The awards honor and celebrate companies and individuals who have accomplished outstanding achievements in the software testing and quality assurance market.

At a grand awards program held in London and attended by hundreds of software testing professionals, Cognizant stole the limelight with the Green Testing Team of the Year (Cognizant), the eggPlant Best Mobile Project (Lloyds Banking Group in partnership with Cognizant), and the Thinksoft Testing Team of the Year (Lloyds Banking Group in partnership with Cognizant) awards.

Cognizant client John Lewis IT was crowned with the main award of the evening, The Borland European Software Testing Award, after they received full marks from judges for their great testing efforts and excellent innovations. John Lewis IT also won the Capita Best Overall Testing Project award in the Retail Sector.

Cognizant’s Craig Ian Thomas and Andrew Thompson won the Test Champion of the Year and the Young Tester of the Year awards respectively.
