The Business Times, Singapore: Cognizant’s APAC Head Says Organizations Must Make Transparency and Data Security Key Performance Indicators

“In the digital economy, consumer trust has become the new battleground for success,” says Jayajyoti Sengupta about what business leaders and companies can do to build trust.  “Our research reveals that one of the biggest threats to companies today comes from the ability to win and keep consumer trust.”

He adds, “Organizations need to master the fundamentals of data ethics, make transparency and data security key performance indicators, and show consumers a return on the value of their trust, what we call the “give-to-get” ratio. They must give customers a 360-degree view and complete control of their information to ensure they feel secure amid their ever-increasing digital footprint, add human intelligence to analytics capabilities, and focus on self-regulation based on openness and accountability.”
