Institutional Investor: Cognizant Shines on the 2015 All-America Executive Team

Cognizant has won key recognitions in the 2015 All-America Executive Team survey, Institutional Investor’s ranking of U.S. corporate leaders as seen through the eyes of investment professionals.

In the Computer Services and IT Consulting sector (buy-side), Cognizant was ranked the “Best Investor Relations” company, and Francisco D’Souza, CEO, Cognizant, and David Nelson, Vice President, Investor Relations, and Treasurer, Cognizant, were ranked the Best CEO and the Best Investor Relations Professional respectively. Karen McLoughlin, Chief Financial Officer, Cognizant, was ranked by the buy-side among the best CFOs. D’Souza and Nelson were also ranked among the top three CEOs and Investor Relations Professionals by the sell-side.

The magazine asked portfolio managers and sell-side analysts to name the best CEOs, CFOs and investor relations professionals at the U.S. companies they cover, and to evaluate these companies on their performance in eight IR attributes, including providing access to senior management, quality and depth of answers to inquiries, transparency of financial reporting and disclosure, and so on. Buy- and sell-side responses were analyzed separately to produce two distinct rankings for each of the four categories (Best CEO, Best CFO, Best IR Professional, and Best IR Company).

The 2015 All-America Executive Team reflects the opinions of more than 1,250 buy-side analysts and money managers at 660 firms that collectively manage an estimated $7.8 trillion in U.S. equities, and from more than 1,000 analysts from over 150 sell-side firms. In the Computer Services and IT Consulting sector, 63 investors and 43 sell-side analysts provided their feedback.
