Silicon.Fr: Country Manager for France Talks About Cognizant’s Plans for the French Market

“Our approach is not project based; rather, it is client-focused,” says Olivier Cavrel. Referring to Cognizant’s new development center in Grenoble, he says, “It directly provides our French clients with a part of the technical services they need...especially where language can be a constraint…It’s a French multidisciplinary operation that now consists of about twenty people. It was opened originally as a dedicated testing center, but will evolve during 2012 to include mobile technologies.”

Cavrel says his goal is “to put in place all the Cognizant tools and procedures” for his first clients “in the transport and health sectors”. With regards to Cognizant’s future plans in France, Cavrel says, “The roadmap is pretty simple: create strong relationships with a small number of large clients and make sure they are satisfied with what we do for them.”
