InformationWeek: CIOs Driving Social Nets and Transformation

In InformationWeek’s Global CIO blog, Malcolm Frank, Cognizant Senior Vice President and Chief Strategist, talked with editor Bob Evans on the rise of social networking in driving the CIO agenda. CIOs are leaning on SaaS, social networks and the cloud as they ask the big new question: What business am I in today? To address industry shifts, enterprises are doing more than experimenting in social media like Twitter, but “digging in and harnessing the power of social nets,” Malcolm noted. As a result, a growing number of new Cognizant engagements involve strategies for social media and networks and a wide range of cloud imperatives.
