Cognizant Wins the 2015 International ICT Awards in the Philippines for Best Company of the Year and Best Emerging IT-BPM Company for Healthcare

Cognizant won the Philippines’ coveted International ICT Awards for “Best Company of the Year” and “Best Emerging IT-BPM Company for Healthcare”.

At a glittering program held in Manila, Cognizant was honored with the 2015 “Best Company of the Year” award for being an inspirational role model for the Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry and the wider business community in the Philippines.

The “Best Emerging IT-BPM Company for Healthcare” award, introduced this year to recognize emerging sectors within the ICT industry, was presented to Cognizant for the world-class healthcare-related services the company delivers from the Philippines to the international healthcare industry.

Cognizant was also named a finalist in the “Best Employer of the Year” category for its human resources practices and policies.

Cognizant was selected for the awards based on a number of attributes: the company’s growth; size, quality, and diversity of clientele; depth and breadth of competencies; and commitment and contribution to talent development, social initiatives, good governance, and promotion of the Philippine IT-BPM industry.

Instituted in 2007 by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) and the Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), the International ICT Awards honor Philippines-based organizations and individuals for their innovation, excellence, and contribution to the growth of the IT-BPM industry in the Philippines.
