Gartner Recognizes Cognizant as a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Application Testing Services Worldwide for the Second Year in a Row
Cognizant is positioned as a Leader in Gartner’s 2015 Magic Quadrant for Applications Testing Services, Worldwide* report. This is the second year in a row that Cognizant has appeared in the Leaders quadrant. The report evaluated 17 leading application service providers based on specific inclusion criteria.
According to Gartner, “Application Testing Services” is a comprehensive term used to capture all types of verification and validation services for the purposes of supporting quality control and quality assurance (QA) of clients’ applications” across three service categories: design (advisory consulting services), build (deployment or IT consulting services), and operate (management services).
Gartner states, “By 2020, 50% of customers will have dismantled test centers of excellence (TCOEs) as they shift to competency centers, agile methodologies and DevOps to provide business agility.”
